One app. Every way to ride in Portugal.
Rydil brings licensed taxi drivers and TVDE partners together in a single platform — the natural next step for Comebytaxi, built to stand alongside Uber and Bolt.
Why the change?
Comebytaxi was built for licensed taxis. Portugal's ride market has grown to include TVDE — and riders want one app for both. Rydil is that app: the same drivers you trust, now alongside TVDE partners, with upfront prices and wider coverage.
How the move to Rydil happens
Comebytaxi.com stays open while Rydil comes online, so nobody is left without a way to book or drive.

Questions about the move
What happens to my Comebytaxi account?
You'll need to create a new Rydil account. We'll show Comebytaxi users how to bring their trip history and details across before the site closes.
Is Rydil only for taxis?
No. Rydil covers licensed taxis and TVDE rides in one app, so you can choose either depending on availability and price.
When exactly does Comebytaxi close?
Comebytaxi.com will stop operating by the end of 2026. We'll confirm the exact date closer to the time.
I drive a taxi — do I need a TVDE licence too?
No. Taxi operators keep working under their existing taxi licence. A TVDE licence is only needed if you want to drive a private vehicle as a TVDE partner.
